Questa bellissima e famosa localita costiera si trova sulla
costa nord del Kent 12 km da Canterbury, 29 km da Dover e 100 km
da Londra. Whitstable ha grande fascino e carattere, con le sue

regione vanta oltre alle rinomate stazioni balneari di Brighton
ed Eastbourne anche la storica localitŕ medioevale di Canterbury
con l’im-ponente Cattedrale meta di pellegrinaggi. Da non
dimenticare poi le Ťbianche -scogliere di Doverť uno dei
paesaggi piů spettacolari al mondo.
This delightful and popular old coastal town is
situated on the north coast of kent 12 km from Canterbury, 29 km
from Dover and 100 km from London. Whitstable has plenty of
charm and character with fisherman's huts and pretty
weatherboard cottages. Historic harbour. Shingle/sandy beaches
where you can enjoy sunbathing, swimming and watersports. Here
the Thames estuary broadens into the North sea and the town
nestles alongside a sheltered bay formed between the Kent
shoreline and the Isle of Sheppey. As a fishing port, Whitstable
is famous for its oysters - there is a festival every July.
There are many shops, pubs, restaurants specialising in seafood.

Sussex and West Sussex. Kent is known as “the Garden of England”
as it is famous for market gardening. Visitors arriving by ferry
into Dover enjoy their first view of the spectacular White
Cliffs. The medieval town of Canterbury is famous for its
magnificent cathedral. There are lots of interesting cities in
Surrey such as Guildford and this county has beautiful rolling
hills and countryside plus fast train connections to London. In
Sussex you will find famous seaside resorts such as Brighton,
Eastbourne and Hastings and the port of Portsmouth. |
